Saturday June 22, the Wisconsin State USBC hosted the first Annual Adult/Youth Baker Doubles tournament. There were a total of 35 entries in two divisions (U20 and U15). We were also treated to a 300 game rolled by the team of Austin Tryba and Ben Cleveland. We managed to give out another $420.00 in scholarships that were added to the winners SMART accounts with USBC. Special thanks to all of our bowlers, adult and youth, who participated in this innaugural event at Jambo/Expo 2019!
The 2019 500/600 tournament was hosted at Bowlero on Sunday June 23, 2019. There were over 200 bowlers who competed on the 2 squads. Each of our bowlers qualified by rolling a 500, for girls, or a 600, for boys, in a past State Youth Championship Tournament. This tournament was also a Junior Gold Qualifier. We generated enough JG entries to give away 8 spots for the 2020 national Junior Gold Tournament, which will be held in Indianapolis. These spots were divided based on the number of entries by boys and girls. We will be awarding 5 spots in the boys division and 3 spots in the girls division.
